Mobile Network Lab Systems from Tecore Networks is now being supplied to global Tier 1 telecom carriers. The company’s product was selected various carriers evaluated the software-defined architecture, which is capable of completing networks, including core and radio access network segments, using a compact form factor.

The world’s largest carriers are often the first to prove in new standards-based technologies, and must anticipate and resolve issues before they affect the live network. They use these Lab systems to simulate the impact of numerous factors on their services and therefore have exacting demands for the vendors who supply these systems.
“Tecore Networks has maintained a 17-year track record in advancing cellular technologies for a wide range of customers,” said Casey Joseph, chief technology officer at Tecore Networks, in a statement. “Whether we are constructing a nationwide network to help a country rebuild after war, or we are supplying established global carriers, we have consistently delivered solutions for a wide range of stringent requirements because of our capabilities, experience and agility.”
The company said carriers like the fact that Tecore Networks’ solution is an adaptable, software-defined networking platform. The ability to deploy systems rapidly to meet urgent customer timelines, and a full suite of professional services, are also appealing features.

Tecore’s radio access network (RAN) solutions can provide a range of configuration options and performance characteristics in GSM/GPRS/EDGE, CDMA, EV-DO or unlicensed spectrums.
