Multidev Technologies has announced new Store Budgeting functionality, which company officials say is for “setting suitable store sales and performance objectives.”
The firm sells business products for the retail industry. This functionality announced today is part of its retail management product,
ChainDrive.
ChainDrive’s Store Budgeting features are designed to provide retailers with the ability to set sales objectives, view comparables and establish Key Performance Indicator targets.
This budgeting tool “provides a platform that has the ability to set and monitor store objectives using real-time data, as well as accumulates historical statistics, allowing for immediate action,” company officials say.
In addition to setting sales targets, the Store Budgeting tool lets the head office control what data is visible to the store, and can produce a view representing its requirements for goal setting, reporting and analysis. It also provides the capability to manage stores by district, area or type and ranks them against any set target.
“With the addition of our new Store Budgeting functionality, our retail customers will truly benefit from a tool that clearly communicates their budget goals and objectives directly to the store level,” stated Mark Carter, executive vice president of Multidev Technologies.
In September, the Montreal-based vendor, which proudly counts the Montreal Canadiens as one of its clients, announced that it had partnered with Moneris Solutions, a Canadian processor of credit and debit card transactions.
The idea behind establishing a partnership with Moneris, Multidev officials said at the time, was to offer its clients payment processing, “adding value to its ChainDrive Integrated Retail Management System as well as its retail clients.”
“We are pleased to have added Moneris to our portfolio of partners, and look forward to establishing a solid relationship,” added Carter.
Moneris offers credit, debit, wireless and online payment services for merchants in virtually every industry segment and processes more than 2.3 billion transactions annually.
